DIRECTIONS FOR USE An antioxidant (eg vit C, carotenoids: not synthesised by human beings but indispensable) is a molecule capable of delaying or preventing the oxidation of other molecules. Low levels of antioxidants cause oxidative stress and can damage cell components. • The Goji berry: • Is currently eaten by celebrities all over the world. • Because of its extraordinary health benefits this “super-fruit” has been used for thousands of years in traditional Tibetan and Chinese medicine. • It has a highly antioxidant effect thanks to the unique polysaccharides (LBPs) contained in this fruit which are fundamental to maintaining good skin condition. It is also rich in natural antioxidants such as zeaxanthin and carotenoids and other essential components such as the essential fatty acids omega 3 and 6, trace elements (manganese, zinc, iron, copper, nickel, chromium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, cobalt, selenium, cadmium, phosphorus, germanium, etc.), beta-sitosterol, minerals, sugars and amino acids. • This special food is also known as the fruit of happiness and longevity because of its countless properties. Different varieties exist, but only one has all these extraordinary properties and is also free from chemicals and pollution. This is Lycium barbarum which grows in the Himalayan Mountains. • The betaine obtained from beetroot plays a fundamental role in maintaining the volume and balance of water in the cells. It acts on the basis of the theory of “osmolites”. • The honey provides a combination of sugars similar to that found in the Natural Moisturising Factor of the skin. This gives it a powerful moisturising property. Its combination of amino acids, proteins, vitamins and enzymes provides the skin with nutrients and stimulates the renewal of cells. This active ingredient is modified to prevent the cream having a sticky texture due to the honey and to improve its adherence to the skin. • This is all combined with avocado oil and shea butter to give this hydro-nutritional treatment a pleasant texture.
